You Don’t Need This Book, Review

My friend and colleague, Ben McDougal has created an incredible handbook with You Don’t Need This Book, (YDNTB). I say it's a must-have for first-time startup founders, but it absolutely will be loved by second time founders too. It’s a well-written and succinct explanation of the core facets of entrepreneurship.

What I love most about the book is that it's easy to read or fun to listen to as an audiobook. No technical jargon or assumptions about who you are or what you need to know. After reading just the first Ideation chapter, I sent YDNTB over to my entire online community of founders knowing they would really appreciate the valuable wisdom and friendly flow.

Not only does this book lean into the fundamentals of becoming an idea machine, inclusive team building and energized growth, it provides insights you didn’t even know to ask about. Why community is key, how to activate side hustles, sharp tactics for market research, and creative ways to celebrate with your team.

You Don’t Need This Book: Entrepreneurship in the Connected Era is a must-have for students, first-time founders and anyone looking to fuel positive change within their startup community.
